Plaxico Burress is going away for a while, so here’s his farewell parting cartoon... It’s just another sad tale of how the mighty have fallen as Burress went from catching the winning touchdown in Superbowl XLII to being a disgraced prison inmate in 19 months after accidentally shooting himself in the foot at a nightclub.
Of course, when he gets out sometime in 2011, the Ginats have cut ties with him and the probability of him returning to any NFL team likely has lesser odds than a Hail Mary pass. Sure, Michael Vick came back and now is on the Eagles, but that was only for running a dogfighting ring. The NFL has much stricter gun rules.
