There’s so much being written about the “Night Train,” Steve Holcomb’s jet-black four-man bobsled, and so much hype - especially since they became the first US four-man bobsled team to win gold since the St. Moritz games in 1948 - that I have to draw this cartoon.

 

The idea of my cop character pulling over a bobsled and issuing a speeding ticket was just too good an idea for me to pass up (especially considering those sleds are plowing down Vancouver’s Whistler track at over 90-mph).

 

I tried to make it appear as if the sled came to a screeching halt, hence the “tracks” in the snow, as well as the powder on the front and sides of the sled and mounds of snow at the front of the runners and motorcycle.  Hey, that’s why they have such a long runoff track at the end of the course!  ^_^
