Yankee manager Joe Girardi has decided to ban sweets from the clubhouse, leading to this cartoon.
I actually played around with several different layouts, including drawing Girardi from the back showing # 27 facing Red and Yellow in the dugout, telling them they were “benched,” appropriately on said furniture.
A second included having the M&M’s facing the manager at his desk, saying they were being cut from the team. “You guys are cut!” was my first idea of what to say and was only changed because I felt the reader wouldn’t understand it completely.
