Since they are actually having to bring in snowmaking equipment for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver due to the unseasonably warm weather in British Columbia, and with the record snowfalls in the Tri-State area, I thought that some of the sanitation and dump truck drivers might want to lend a helping hand to our neighbors to the North... Plus, it’s a really great way to get rid of all that white stuff!  ^_^

 

Great simple little cartoon of what I thought would possibly happen at the border or a checkpoint near the Olympic site.  I loved doing the pastel-like background and tried my best to freehand some Canadian spruces dotting the mountains - which I kept snow-free in keeping with the cartoon.  My first attempt at striping the asphalt - came out great using the skew tool!  And I love the way the Mountie’s expression turned out!
