Watch Out Wright!

Just another take on Mets third baseman David Wright getting beaned by a 94-mph fast ball.

Of course the Mets don’t need another injury - they’ve got enough already - but I think I’ll save that subject for another cartoon.

This time I was again looking to play on some old cartoons where the character was able to duck their head so much when confronted with an incoming object that it looked as though they were actually “headless,” and then either sticking their eyes out of their shoulders or poking their head out of the middle of their shirt (or in this case jersey). ^_^

As Yogi would say, it’s déjà vu all over again as after Wright’s injury I saw in yesterday’s edition of Newsday that there was another story printed about those S100 helmets.
