My farewell message to SNY.  There really isn’t much left to say here, except I wanted to go out with a touch of class, like Charles Schultz did in his last strip - having Snoopy type out a letter on the top of his doghouse.  I think a darkened room with a note left on the drawing table and my lamp on is appropriate don’t you think?

 

I felt that if I did a regular cartoon and then come Thursday when it was time for another and it wasn’t posted, people would be wondering why.  The note came about as an answer to this.
