Marbury Goes to Boston First Class
Our long basketball nightmare is over... Apologies to former President Ford but for the Knicks its true with the trade of Stephon Marbury to Boston. Maybe he’ll work the same magic on the Celtics as he did with here in New York. Of course, they’re shipping him there first class.
My original idea called for a faded Celtics logo on the side of the crate, but I found that the “Boston” and “One Way” shipping signs (in Celtic green) were too funny to resist. It was also an opportunity to reuse the wood grain pattern I had first created for the “Stretch Joba Out More!” cartoon.
I’ve also started some shameless self-promotion, adding the site’s address to all my cartoons.
