The Bull and the Bulls

After an incredible seven game series against the Celtics, the Bulls are eliminated from the NBA Playoffs.  So, neither the Chicago Bulls nor the Wall St. bull (given the economy) can advance.  Given that it deals with both sports and the economy. I wasn’t exactly sure if it belonged here or in the “Political Cartoons” section, but since it’s the Chicago Bull commenting, I’ll place it here.

The Bulls logo is just the head of a red bull - I wonder if that’s where they got the name of the energy drink from? - so I carried that forward, adding the basketball as another reference.  Same idea adding the “Wall St.” sign in case people don’t know about the famous bull statue in lower Manhattan near the Bowling Green.  Why there isn’t a bear statue on the other side is beyond me though.

One of the other details was to add cobblestones, but when I saw them, I figures they might distract from the figures.  I didn’t want to draw trees or buildings - too many lines to keep track of - so it’s again done in Photoshop, adding a bit of perspective and giving you a feel as though you’re in the city.
