Turn in Your Dreadlocks, Manny
Add Manny Ramirez’s name to the latest list of baseball superstars linked to steroid use. I happen to think it’s a little comical that he is suspended for 50 games for using a fertility drug for women and not the actual performance enhancers, but they say that what he used - human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) - is used to increased testosterone after steroid use, so I guess he’s only being caught after the fact.
If you remember the opening scene of the Blues Brothers, where John Belushi is being released from prison and he goes to get his personal belongings from Frank Oz, that’s what came into my mind - if Manny was suspended, what belongings would he have to turn in?
