The Giants definitely needed this game, but just couldn’t stop San Diego with 21 seconds left on the clock.  It’s just a horrible upset for Eli Manning and Big Blue who have lost their last four games after opening the season 5-0.

 

I really didn’t have any Charger in mind for this cartoon, which is why I went with the generic logo uniform and guy.  I know his right hand is a little long, but I first drew this with his left hand extended, and only later realized that if that was true, he couldn’t be shaking hands with Eli!  So I had to go back and change it.

 

The original idea had to do with simple static electricity, but and after getting some opinions I went back and added the joy buzzer ring and the accompanying shipping crate; kind of homage to Wile E. Coyote that the Charger orders it all from ACME (and the thing actually works!).
