Opening Day 2009 wasn’t that great as CC Sabathia got rocked around by the Orioles, giving up six runs in eight hits over four and a third innings.

 

I got to thinking about Charlie Brown and the ball coming back at him with every pitch he threw, getting knocked for a loop and sending his shirt, shoes, socks and glove flying.  The scene is completely appropriate, so this is also a little tribute to the late great Charles Schultz.
