The Penguins have tied it up at two games apiece and it’s shaping up to be another good Stanley Cup final this year.

 

It’s not often that you get to revisit an idea that you had, but here’s the exception.  Last year I had the idea of the Penguins dancing around the Stanley Cup if they were victorious over the Red Wings, wrapping the octopus’ arms around the cup, like a maypole.

 

Since the opportunity came around again (and I have another idea for a Pittsburgh victory), I decided I couldn’t miss the opportunity again, and substituted the South Pole for the Cup.  I actually think that works better - South Pole, may pole.
