A nice little play on words for the start of Spring training as CC tells the class what exactly he did during the offseason.

 

Not my first attempt at drawing Jorge Posada here, but it is the first time it’s being published for all to see - gotta love those ears!  And what exactly is he and A.J. Burnett planning to do with that pie?  You just know that Girardi sees them out of the corner of his eye...

 

I think I’ve really found a design for A.J. that works in term of his head and face, especially considering that he no longer has longer hair and shaved the soul patch on his chin.  Holding a whipped cream pie doesn’t hurt, either.  ^_^

 

The room was actually modeled on my elementary Catholic school rooms - all of which pretty much looked exactly the same, complete with those large windows you had to use a pole to open and close.  The wood planks are the same one I used for the basketball court, but with a color stain just over it.
