2009 World Series - AJ Tongue Ties the Phanatic
A possible sequel to the tongue-lashing the Phanatic gave Torre in a previous cartoon, as after the performance by Cliff Lee in Game 1, AJ Burnett turns in a performance himself to even the series at a 1-1.
I changed up AJ’s nose here from previous cartoons as well as cleaned him up due to the infamous Yankee dress code. I’m also pleased with how the turtleneck and hoodie turned out.
Interesting note - Lee not only starts the 2009 season getting the win Opening Day at Yankee Stadium with the Indians, but he also gets the win in the opening game of the World Series in New York too!
