With all the injuries the Mets currently have, I decided to do another “trip to the hospital” theme.  Beltran is recovering from surgery on both his knees, Delgado has an ailment to his right hip, and Church suffered a concussion (which for some reason because its baseball I find hilarious).  I suspect that the Mets want their players to get better as fast as possible, so Omar called for some desperate measures - namely a witch doctor.  The baseball and glove on the tops of his staffs were a nice touch that I came up with.

 

One of my other ideas for this involved some of the Mets being wheeled up to a hut by Omar with the “The Doctor is In” sign staked in the ground with the witch doctor sitting in a chair, smoking some sort of tribal pipe.

 

The only downside to this was that I’ve had the Alvin & the Chipmunks (read: old, non-movie) version of “Witch Doctor” playing in my head this entire weekend.
