There’s been a lot of rumors and speculation about whether or not the Mets should/ will get Barry Bonds.  Bonds remains unsigned, and I think a lot of Mets fans (as well as the vast majority of baseball fans) hope that he will stay that way.  Plus, with the whole trial thing and the strong possibility of Bonds being called on to testify, it would be too much of a distraction for any team that would sign him, plus they would have to fill his slot again anyway.

 

I ‘m not sure I like the camera effect - I’m fairly sure that readers understand the idea of Bonds being introduced as a Met though.
