Since Easter is Sunday and my feature falls on Monday, it makes more sense for me to draw this one today rather than the day after Easter.  The story behind this one is simple - what would happen if the Easter bunny ran out of eggs to color?  In a sports world this is easy - head for the baseballs!  For me it was better to think of the Easter bunny as a compulsive painter - he just can’t help himself - so it’s easy to forgive him.

 

Willie tapping his foot, obviously upset was the challenge I set for myself in this cartoon.  The foot not on the ground was done on a second layer and made transparent in order to simulate motion.  The blue lines (on another layer) were added because black lines didn’t show up that well against the shoe.
