Cardinals Rule!
Yes! The Cards out the Eagles! Justice for the New York fans! I’m also glad because can you imagine if it was an all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl? At least now we are guaranteed to have an East vs. West contest.
I wanted this cartoon to be almost a repeat of “Kicking the Eagles Out” but replacing Eli with a Cardinal, so I traced my original tree and eagle. Since the background was so good, that too is in place. I did resist the urge for a thought bubble for the eagle - possibly using the phrase “Not Again...” - but I felt that viewers would remember the earlier cartoon so there was no need.
