First of all, no, the title does not refer to the Beijing Olympic Stadium.  Since the NFL Playoffs this year have a lot of birds in the conference championship, so I went with an avian theme, dubbing this the “Battle of the Birds Nest.”  I also wanted to convey that these two fowls were going to go at it So once again I took a page from the Warner cartoons:  whenever somebody was going to go into a fight, I had them roll up their sleeves (or in this case, their feathers) and get ready to duke it out.

 

Of course, since the Eagles ousted the Giants, I’m hoping a win’s in the ‘Cards.  I know, bad joke.
