The fourth and (possibly?) final “Peeddrrrooo” cartoon, with the (extremely) odd couple of Martinez and Minaya breaking up as Pedro goes off to hang with the Phillies, having been signed by the Mets’ archenemy.  Despite this, he says he still loves New York and the Mets... then why switch?

 

Obviously the love isn’t reciprocal.  Personally I think the Mets could have used him, but obviously the Mets didn’t want to sign him, and now it’s too late as you can tell by Omar offering a contract.  I did a little bit of a redesign on Pedro, trying to accent those high cheek-bones of his.  Plus he hadn’t made an actual appearance in a cartoon in quite some time and I don’t know If I’ll ever get a chance to draw him again.
