Homewreckers!
You really hate to lose your home opener, and you hate it even more when you drop the opening game of a new stadium to boot. Hence for the Yankees and Mets, the Indians and Padres respectively are homewreckers as both dropped the first “official” game in their new homes.
The padre was the most fun to draw being a new character, and I think I really got the logo design San Diego has been using. Contrary, the Indian was the most difficult, not in terms of his head, but the body - particularly that loincloth. I think I should have just stuck to the pants that I had back in “Torre’s Last Stand.”
Also, the “N.Y. Stinks” graffiti was added both because 1) everybody who’s not a New York fan tends to hate New York, and 2) I needed something on the right to balance the broken windows on the left.
