With a 102-89 victory last night I am certainly happy that the Lakers took Game 1 of the NBA Finals.  Celtics-Lakers is one of the preeminent and classic match-ups in Finals history so of course hardwood fans have a lot to look forward to in the series.  Of course, for me, I’m rooting for Los Angeles.

 

What else are you going to do except have a little bit of the “Fighting Irish” in this cartoon?  I know it’s a nod to Notre Dame, but still you have to admire the juxtaposition of the towering Kobe Bryant and fellow Laker just looking down at the little leprechaun.
