Vick’s Off His Leash!
When you hear the news that Michael Vick is out of prison and being conditionally reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, you can’t help but draw another dog reference cartoon. How could I not use this beautiful setup after the guy served 18 months for his participation in a dog fighting ring?
Of course with Vick you’d need a chain for a leash (prison and the ball and chain, etc.) but I pictured a scene of an older lady walking a dog and the canine breaks the leash and runs off bounding toward the first person they see. I decided to bring back the librarian from a “Geoff the Ref” as Vick’s handler since I thought she’d be a good fit and I just wanted to see her again.
